A former member of the HAA board, Daniel Ahn is a venture capitalist and entrepreneur who has founded multiple companies. He is Managing Partner and founder of ClearVision Ventures, a firm focusing on companies driving energy and infrastructure sustainability. He has previously been a partner at Voyager Capital and Woodside Fund.

As Director for Northern California Clubs with the HAA, Ahn has helped promote and institutionalize collaboration among the region’s various clubs and SIGs.  Some of his work focused particularly on diversity and equity includes: interclub talks on anti-Asian hate and on Anti-Semitism; an event highlighting recent research on treatment of women in the workplace; and an initiative to connect undergrads lacking business networks with mentors at the Business School.

During the court battle to defend affirmative action at Harvard, Ahn organized alumni conversations about the case’s implications and also urged HAA leadership to highlight the very broad societal consequences of an adverse decision.
